SO! This year I will not be attending as many cons as last year. Considering last year I went to every possible one in my area, I'm ok with not attending them all again. So the only con I have scheduled for this year is AnimeExpo in July.

And guess what? I'M COSPLAYING OMG LOL WHAT THE HECK.

~Riku-stalker rounded up me and a few other friends for a cosplay group. We will all be characters from Deathnote. With her extreme love for all that is Light, ~Riku-stalker will be dressed as Light Yagami. With my pale complexion and large eyes, I have been designated as L! He's the only thing I really like from Deathnote lol. We also have a Near, and hopefully a Mikomi.

I never really planned on cosplaying, but now it's gonna happen. I've always kinda wanted to, but I've always thought I would bring shame to any character I try to dress up as . I still think so, but my buddy really wants me to cosplay.

With that in mind, I was thinking I wanna use my natural hair. So I got it chopped off recently just to get a feel for how I should get it cut for Expo. ~Riku-stalker came to my house and we took her to go get hers cut off too, to be like light x). We just gotta dye her hair in June for the con. Mine will be dyed black then too. Now my mother is telling me she won't let me die my hair black?! Noooooooo! L isn't the same without black hair! She says she'd rather buy me a wig...We'll see...

Anyways, I'm a bit blonde for now. Golden blonde doesn't look good on me, so I'm going for an ash blonde. Which will hopefully get done today, but probably not.

I have also been trying to lose weight. Not just for my cosplay, but for my clothes xD;. Nothing fits anymore D:! So we'll see how that goes!

School is going....ok. Hopefully I'll pass my classes! I hate all the applying and crap for cal grants and stuff though Dx. (What do you mean I have to resend my GPA by Monday?!)

AND! I have discovered the beauty of online shopping. My debit card eases my life somewhat . With everything closing down (including my favorite and only anime store!!! oh noes!) I think this will be something I'm gonna have to do more of. For my anime stuff at least. I like getting things in the mail anyway xD. The waiting is what sucks though!
